Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 3 days notice prior to your scheduled arrival date to cancel your tree service appointment.
In the event of cancellation within 2(two) days prior to scheduled appointment date, you will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the value of 10% of total amount quoted.
In the event of cancellation within 1(one) day prior to scheduled appointment date, you will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the value of 15% of total amount quoted.
In the event of cancellation on the day of the scheduled appointment date, you will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the value of 50% of total amount quoted.
We understand that there are times when you must reschedule an appointment due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. Our cancellation policy will be enforced on a case by case basis.
Safety Policy
Downey Tree Service is committed to a strong safety program that protects its staff, its property and the public from accidents.
Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives. Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, in every job is necessary for the safety among all workers on the job site.
Management supports participation in the program by all employees and provides proper equipment, training and procedures. Employees are responsible for following all procedures, working safely, and, wherever possible, improving safety measures.
An injury and accident-free workplace is our main goal. We have implemented several safety measures to accomplish this, which we employ daily to ensure the safety of our staff, and the public.
· Mandatory safety equipment such as: helmet, safety boots, chainsaw pants, safety goggles, ear protection
· Each day our staff must initial beside each piece of safety equipment to confirm they’re equipped for the day
· Our staff our trained in road side safety procedures to guide traffic, pedestrians, cyclist, etc safetly when operating on roads
· Adequate water and breaks are always provided to ensure no one is injured or over worked.
